A 2 Bed, newly refurbished dog friendly character slate cottage. Slate tiled floors on the ground floor, with fully equipped kitchen/diner. Directly across the lane is the large enclosed garden that has mature plants and shrubs that have been lovingly cared for. There is a summer house to the rear of the garden, where you will find the barbeque and more garden furniture.
Just further along the lane near the farm, you will find a liitle cabin, in here you can go in and get sausages and fresh farm eggs. there is usually home made Jams and trinkets too ,locally made by the farmers wife. There are many walks in the region, in particular right outside the front door, walking along the road towards the little bridge turn right and follow the path into the woods. From here you can walk right up to Delabole Slate quarry and enjoy a tour round the quarry experiencing the history first hand. Trebarwith Strand has the wonderful Surf school that will give lessons, an experience you simply cant miss, afterwards you can have a snack or meal at the Strand Cafe. For those that love cycling, you can hire bikes from Bodmin, Padstow or Wadebridge and ride the Camel Trail. Car Free Zone, you can cycle right from Padstow to Bodmin. If you stop at Padstow be sure to call in at Rick Steins. Along the route from Wadebridge to Bodmin there is a lovely little Tea Rooms, where you can grab just a snack or go for a full on Cream Tea or a sandwich. There is lots to see in Bodmin including the Bodmin Jail, experience first hand all the sights from years gone by and the horrific conditions upon the inmates lived. Visit Tintagel, the home of King Arthurs Castle, well worth the climb up all the steps. Have a stroll through Tintagel seeing all the wonderful exhibitions and the Oldest Post Office. Nearby Boscastle has a visitors centre, Witchcraft museum and some wonderful shops to browse. The close by market town of Wadebridge has some great individual stores and cafes/Bistros to visit. You can always explore Loswiethiel and all its antique stores and visit restormel Castle, sample thier wonderful wines and Jams. If you love Cyder (Not many aren’t tempted) You must go to healeys Cyder Farm and take the tour, ride on a tractor then go into the belly of Cyder making, sample all the Special Reserve Cyders and Wines, for the kids there is just down the road Callestick Cornish Ice Cream Farm. For the younger visitors there is Hidden Valley an adventure for the budding detectives. Solve the clues to get the reward. Port Issac the home of Doc Martin is not only picturesque, it is only a few miles from Coopers Cottage and well worth a visit.
